A new clue with every guess.
Guess the country from one AI-generated scene. You get 5 guesses, and each one answers with a great-circle distance, a direction arrow, a proximity colour — and one more written clue. There is no map to click and no account, and everyone in the world plays the same puzzle each day.

The scorecard gives nothing away: no country, no city, no distances. Come back tomorrow for the next one, or read the archive of past days.
How a guess is scored
Distance is the great-circle distance between your guessed country's capital city and the coordinate of the place the scene depicts; the arrow is the bearing from one to the other; 🟩 is under 500 km, 🟨 500–2,000 km, 🟧 2,000–5,000 km, 🟥 over 5,000 km, 🎯 the right country.
The full rule — including why the capital and not a centroid, and the known imprecision for very large countries — is published on the how-to-play page. A rule you can check beats a rule that is merely accurate.
