How is this different from Globle?
GuessGlobe shows an AI-generated scene and answers each guess with a distance, a direction arrow and a colour band; Globle is a daily country-guessing game played on a globe, but its own site is a JavaScript application our checker cannot read, so this page reports what we verified instead of completing the comparison from memory.
This is the one comparison on this site we cannot finish, and saying so is more useful than filling the gaps in.
⚠️ Two separate problems. First, the game appears to live at globle-game.com, which is a JavaScript application — our fetcher gets the page title and nothing else, the same way it fails on several other sites in this genre. Second, the URL an earlier version of this page used as its source, globle.org, turns out to be a site whose footer reads "Globle.org © 2022 All rights reserved" and which also hosts games called Worldle, Flagle, Geo Riddle and GeoGuessr Free. We could not establish what relationship it has to the original, so we stopped treating anything on it — including the 4.3-out-of-5 rating from 61,865 votes it displays — as a fact about Globle.
What follows is therefore our own column in full, and the other column only where we can stand behind it.

When you should play Globle instead
- You like narrowing down on a globe. Sweeping a continent and watching the feedback change is a genuinely different pleasure from reading a photograph, and we do not offer it.
- You want a world map in front of you the whole time. Ours is a picture puzzle; the map is not the medium.
- You want the bigger, established community. Globle has been running for years and this site has not.
What we could not check
Listed rather than glossed over, because a comparison page that only shows the comparisons which flatter it is an advert. Everything below is a gap in our own checking on 2026-08-04, not a claim about Globle.
- Almost everything about how Globle plays: the feedback mechanic, the number of guesses, when its day rolls over, its pricing, whether it needs an account, and whether it keeps an archive. Its site is a JavaScript application and our checker reads only the title.
- What relationship, if any, globle.org has to the original game — and therefore whether its 61,865-vote rating says anything at all about Globle.
- This page is meant to be finished as soon as we can read the original site by some other route. Until then, treat the Globle column as unwritten rather than as answered.

- We are not in a position to say. We can describe GuessGlobe exactly — read a generated scene for vegetation, building materials and which side of the road traffic uses, then narrow down with a distance and a bearing over five guesses — but we have not been able to read Globle’s own site, so any comparison of difficulty would be invented.
- Which site is the real Globle?
- The game appears to be at globle-game.com. We also found globle.org, which displays a rating and hosts several other games including ones called Worldle and Flagle, and whose footer reads "Globle.org © 2022 All rights reserved". We could not establish the relationship between them, so we point at globle-game.com and leave the question there.
- Does GuessGlobe show a globe?
- No. The picture is the puzzle; the only geometry you get back is a distance and a direction. Deliberately so — a globe on screen would give away more than the scorecard is supposed to.
- Why is this comparison page unfinished?
- Because finishing it would mean writing things about another game that we have not checked. This site is built so that every fact carries the source and the date it was read; a cell that cannot be filled that way stays empty and says why.
